Mozilla Developers Wallpapers December 25, 2006

I thought it would be nice to have some wallpapers dedicated to the giants of opensource, to those who give so much and work so hard for all our sakes. Lauren had even deigned to make them, but she had to rush to make her plane to San Diego this afternoon. She gave the project several hours, working off a list of names I gave her yesterday, but she finished only one. She left some unfinished designs for me on a PSD, but I’m not sure yet whether I’ll use them before she gets back next week, come up with some designs myself, or just wait for her to pick up where she left off. At any rate, here’s Kevin Freitas Wallpaper, the first of some number of Mozilla Developers Wallpapers we shall make.

Firefox TV Commercials December 20, 2006

The most wonderful thing about being a fan of the Google, Firefox, Opensource triumvirate is the fact they deserve it. They just keep coming up with ideas that make me feel good about using the Web, and that make me, a student of web marketing, impressed as hell. Never again let it be said that Idealism and Marketing don’t mix! Oh, wait… I think they call that propaganda;)
